Age of Steam is an economic strategy game about building rail links and delivering goods cubes. Each turn you issue shares to raise money, bid for turn order and special actions, lay track, and deliver goods — every link a cube crosses pays income to the link's owner. Final score is income track × 3 plus completed link tiles minus issued shares × 3, so the whole game is about building an income engine without drowning in share debt.
This implementation runs the full ruleset in the browser: the 10-step turn order, the auction for player order, all 7 special actions (First Move, First Build, Engineer, Locomotive, Urbanization, Production, Turn Order), income reduction, and per-map special rules. The engine enumerates every legal move, so the AI can never break the rules. A first-game guide explains each phase as it comes up, and a median completed game takes about 17 minutes.
