All Maps
Browse all 13 playable maps in this free Age of Steam fan implementation: official maps and original fan-made maps, each with its own layout and rules.
Rust Belt
The base map of Age of Steam, set in the industrial belt south of the Great Lakes. Every standard rule is defined against this map.
Ireland
The official Ireland expansion map. A shorter game without Urbanization, where sea-route claims and Deurbanization violently reshape the flow of cubes.
Korea
The official Korea expansion map. Every city is colorless: goods can only be delivered where matching cubes have gathered, creating a unique logistics puzzle.
Scandinavia
The official Scandinavia expansion map. Ferry teleports between coastal cities and sea routes that open after urbanization create tight Nordic strait bottlenecks.
Scotland
The official two-player map. A compact duel across rugged Scottish terrain with ferries, special connections, and other unique rules.
Heartland Plains
A gentle, plains-heavy fan map. Low build costs keep the focus on pure route competition.
Great Lakes North
A fan map split by lakes. Games are decided by how well you design detour routes around the water.
Ohio Valley
A fan map with cities strung along a river. The mind games revolve around crossing costs and toll routes.
New England
A dense 2–3 player map squeezed between the Atlantic coast and northwestern hills, where routes collide from turn one. Standard rules, no ferries or special rules.
Pittsburgh
A three-player map where a Y-shaped confluence of rivers splits the board into three regions. Everyone fights head-on over Pittsburgh at the junction.
Switzerland
A compressed alpine map where the Alps run east–west across the middle and only a few passes connect north and south. Whoever claims the corridors first controls the game.
Osaka
A high-density metro map with 12 tightly packed cities. Links run just 1–3 hexes, so the race to connect the best segments matters more than terrain costs.
Bupyeong Underground
An original 2-3 player fan map set in the Bupyeong Underground Mall in Incheon, Korea, which holds the world record for most shops in an underground arcade (1,408). You link shopping zones and exits through a maze walled off by machine rooms.
